Back in December, RGA’s management and sales team had the opportunity to visit Thermoid’s Oneida, Tennessee, plant for an in-depth training session and facility tour. The session, led by David Gossett, Thermoid’s Hose Product Manager, provided RGA team members with valuable insights into industrial hose and lightweight belting (LWB) products, covering construction, applications, and target customer markets.

The highlight of the visit was a guided plant tour, where attendees observed firsthand the manufacturing process behind Thermoid’s high-quality hoses and belting.

Zach DeGroff, Vice President of Sales at RGA, shared his perspective on the impact of the training:

“The plant tour helped our people understand the product better. They now know the construction of the hoses, which allows them to suggest the correct style for customers with more confidence. It also improves their ability to diagnose issues, as they now have a deeper understanding of how these hoses are designed to work.”

For IDCO members looking to strengthen their understanding of industrial hose applications and Thermoid’s capabilities, this training and tour experience highlights the importance of hands-on learning and supplier collaboration.
