Terry’s first stop was in Illinois (the Prairie State), marked by farmland, forests, rolling hills and wetlands. It’s also home to IDCO supplier Kuriyama of America and IDCO member Geib Industries.

The lobby is welcoming, and the product display room is spacious, clean, and well-organized. The corporate timeline is informative, and the warehouse is huge. Check out the shogun statue, a gift for celebrating 50 years here in America!
Geib Industries, Inc., Bensenville, Illinois
Geib is extremely impressive! An indoor mural depicts the three main areas of focus:
- all hose, rubber, metal, composite and their major industries
- clean energy/wind power
- transportation fuel/oil refining and processing
Check out the size and scope of the business and the amount of inventory (it’s a 74,000 square-foot facility with 70+ employees). The warehouse includes 10-12 welding booths for special and custom components (primarily with metal hose).

Next stop, Indiana! Terry snapped a few shots at TFE to share. TFE, a two-time “Distributor of the Year” winner for the great lakes region for Dodge, is also the only Dodge “Market Maker” for Indiana. They have a new location coming soon to Ohio!

Terry recently toured FMP headquarters in NY. The company celebrated 55 years in business in 2018.

Terry traveled to Alaska to tour Alaska Rubber Group, an employee-owned company specializing in industrial and hydraulic hose products, rubber products, and accessories since 1980. ARG became an IDCO member in August of 2018.
