Proco Products is making a hard push to increase IDCO sales via training and end user visits with the outside salesman. Eric Blazej, Industrial Distribution Sales Manager, has visited many IDCO members, including Ontario Hose, Shamrock Hose, Summers Rubber and IR-G to give presentations and provide training. The presentations include an overview of the wide variety of products they offer, common applications and industries where the products are used, as well as tools to make the sales process easier. They are also conducting end-user surveys. What does a survey entail?
- A detailed list of all expansion joints at the facility. Essentially they create a store’s maintenance list that includes STAMPED criteria and other pertinent information.
- An extensive report with recommendations on handling potential problems such as joints in bad condition and improper installations.
- A quote for needed replacements of expansion joints.
